My experience in the Townhall session of APrIGF – Ming Yip

I was opining on the synthesis document in the townhall session of APrIGF 2018 from the youth perspective. I wished to emphasize the importance of working guidelines for the enforcement bodies, so as to maintain the balance between cybersecurity and individual privacy protection. Aside from this, I also delivered the closing remark of the APryIGF. I reported the discussion outcome in the meetings, which includes the reasons for limited internet access and proposals for improvement of internet access in the Pacific Islands. I would like to take the opportunity to thank the participants for the fruitful contribution to the meetings.
