Throughout her journey of becoming a NetMission ambassador, she not only attended every session held by the Academy but also actively participated in internal meetings of her subgroups. Collaborating with her team she gave a presentation on the comparative case study of South Korea regarding its role in promoting global Internet sustainability and diversity by breaking barriers in the field of Photo-Electronics & Convergence Technology. Angelina Dash is an early career legal researcher from New Delhi, India. She graduated from Gujarat National Law University in 2023. She is currently a Project Officer at the Centre for Communication Governance at the National Law University Delhi, India. Her research focuses on data protection, privacy, and artificial intelligence. She is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and accessible Internet, with a strong emphasis on upholding the rights and data autonomy of all, including marginalized and underserved communities.Â
Ariba Aleem is a graduate in History from the University of Delhi and belongs to Uttar Pradesh, India. She is passionate about issues relating to sustainable development, human rights and Internet Governance. Previously, she contributed to national social service programmes and completed various internships at the national and international level that demonstrated her interests in research at the intersection of education and technology. She participated in the IGF Youth Ambassadors Programme in 2020 and believes that Internet is a way for her to express social views and empower marginalized communities. During her journey with the NetMission Academy, she contributed to policy discussions on the digital economy and enriched her knowledge and understanding of the Internet Governance. He holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from the Technological Institute of the Philippines, where he showcased strong leadership as Chairman of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) â Quezon City Student Chapter from 2019 to 2020.

Namratha Murugeshan is a lawyer and policy researcher. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her primary research interests include regulating Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies and fostering competition in the digital economy.Â

Namuna Sharma is an emerging leader in sustainable agriculture and digital rights advocacy. She is in her final year of Agricultural Studies at Agriculture and Forestry University, Nepal. As a fellow of the Youth Internet Governance Forum Nepal 2024 and an alumna of the Digital Rights School, she actively engages in digital inclusion, internet governance, and cybersecurity awareness. Sarvjeet Pal, an MPP student at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, hails from India. He is currently employed as a visiting policy fellow at the AI Knowledge Consortium India. He has a postgraduate degree in media governance and an undergraduate in journalism and mass communication. He is a budding Internet and AI policy professional and a specialist in media policy advocacy and institutional analysis. Through the journey of NetMission Academy 2025, he gained valuable lessons on various aspects of Internet governance, such as cybersecurity, digital human rights, issues around the digital economy and emerging technologies, ICANNâs framework of Internet governance, etc. The journey of collaboration learning at NetMission Academy in 2025 was not only enlightening about internet governance but also teamwork, punctuality, and patience. As an Internet policy enthusiast, Sarvjeet is also going to participate in the Asia Pacific Internet Governance Academy 2025 India chapter. Suriya Krishna Balakrishnan Nair Suja Kumari was working towards a career in software engineering, but she became curious about how governance mechanisms are adapting to the changes brought by technology so she pursued a master’s in Science and Technology Policy at the University of Sussex, Brighton. Currently, she is focusing on research and her interests lie at the intersection of technology, ethics, and policy – exploring how to govern AI and other disruptive innovations to maximize benefits and minimize harms. Suriya is a recipient of various fellowships in AI governance and is also a part of AI safety and policy organizations.

Unaiza Shahid is a pharmacy student turned tech enthusiast from Depalpur, Pakistan, currently in her third year of Pharm.D. at the Punjab University College of Pharmacy, Lahore. A seasoned MUN delegate with multiple Best Delegate and Outstanding Diplomat awards, she also dabbles in British Parliamentary debates, though she jokingly admits her Best Speaker titles are still âunder construction.â Starting as a self-proclaimed nerd with zero tech background, Unaiza is now passionate about using digital innovation to revolutionize healthcare. She aims to develop a successful telemedicine program in Pakistan while advocating for digital literacy and online privacy awareness.
