Asia Pacific Policy Observatory – Fall 2024 Intake – Call for Contributors & Editors

With the pivotal 2024 mega elections upon us, analyzing the anticipated impact of digital policies across major Asia Pacific jurisdictions is crucial. The analysis of the incoming leadership’s perspectives will help us better foresee how digital issues will be addressed amidst rapid technological advancements. Our May 2024 edition is intended for policymakers, researchers, and anyone interested in the future of digital development in the region. It focuses on eight APAC jurisdictions – Bangladesh, Bhutan, Taiwan, Tuvalu, Pakistan, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Iran.  

As we prepare for the December 2024 edition, our focus will shift to India, Mongolia, North Korea, Palau, Solomon Islands, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Russia, offering timely insights into these crucial jurisdictions. Through data-driven research, we aim to assess how the parties will foster digital development and what will be the potential policy shifts under new leadership.

As Contributors, you will have to:

  • Conduct research on assigned jurisdictions.
  • Analyze current and future digital policy directions.
  • Participate in bi-weekly online meetings to share insights.

As Editors, you will have to:

  • Review and refine research submissions.
  • Ensure consistency and clarity in analyses.
  • Participate in bi-weekly online meetings and provide constructive feedback.
